Responses received will be collated and summarised, presented to the Natural Asset Management Advisory Network, and used for the development of a Natural Asset Strategy guiding the work of the TRC in this important area. TRC aims to complete this Strategy by mid-2020.
Completed surveys indicated:
Priority land types were TRC reserves and other rural land.
Priority actions were safeguarding against biosecurity risks, and supporting revegetation projects.
Remnant rainforest, biodiversity and waterways were the highest ranked natural assets.
Land use intensification, fragmentation, invasive species and climate change were the highest ranked risks.
