Proposed Local Laws open for community consultation
Submissions are now closed on proposed new local laws to apply across our region.
The new laws (see Document Library) will replace our current local laws, and have been developed in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 2009 and the Local Government Regulation 2012.
The major changes are detailed in the policy position tables and there are a series of fact sheets that provide a snapshot of key changes (see Document Library).

Making a submission
To object to, suggest variations or support any of the proposed changes, you need to provide a written submission by 4pm Monday 3 June 2019. Submission must include your name and residential address, state the grounds of your submission, and provide facts and circumstances to support the grounds. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for us to give consideration to your information.
Submissions can be:
- emailed
- delivered to any TRC customer service centre
- posted to PO Box 573, Atherton 4883
- submitted by completing the 'Make a Submission' section on this page.
Social media comments will not be accepted as submissions.
