Project Overview

This stage of the Inclusion Ready project is now complete.

Inclusion Ready is a program of initiatives designed to prepare communities, community services and mainstream services to become more inclusive of people with a disability and to support the goals of the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme).

The Inclusion Ready project is funded by the Queensland Government - Department of Communities, Disability Services and Seniors.

The project is built around four deliverable areas:

  1. Building an evidence base to establish a consistent foundation of projects
  2. Awareness raising about Information Linkages & Capacity Building and inclusion in general
  3. Building capability within providers through industry development projects; and
  4. Strategic projects which produce products that can assist industry beyond life of inclusion

Tablelands Regional Council and Community Services Industry Alliance have partnered to identify key stakeholders, opportunities and organisations that may have an interest in engaging in ILC grants and work closely with people with disability and their families to inform place-based strategies to maximise regional impact.

We are encouraging people from across the region to complete the Inclusion survey prior to 31 July 2019.
